FAQs
What’s the difference between Refined Kitchen & Bath and an interior designer? We’re kitchen design specialists—experts at layouts, cabinetry, finishes, and getting you a beautiful, functional plan (plus the cabinets to build it). We don’t handle project-wide procurement, warehousing, or styling. If you need full-service interior design, we’re happy to refer a great fit.
How much will my cabinets cost? Cabinetry typically ranges $1,200–$1,800 per linear foot, depending on design details, finishes, and storage features. Our average homeowner cabinetry order is about $40,000 for roughly 30 linear feet (around a 200 sq. ft. kitchen in a $150K–$200K full reno budget). You’ll get a detailed quote after your first design meeting.
Do you provide countertops, tile, flooring, or other materials? We can create sourcing lists with purchase links, and you can order at your convenience. If you want us to help select them, we can do that at $75/hr.
What if I need more revisions or additional rooms? No problem—extra design time is billed at $75/hr. We can also add bathrooms, mudrooms, built-ins, and more.
